KEY DATES

ANSIBLE 2.10.4 NOW GENERALLY AVAILABLE

The Ansible Community team announced the general availability of Ansible 2.10.4 on December 1st. This update of the ansible-2.10 package should be a drop-in replacement for Ansible 2.9; the roles and playbooks that you currently use should work out of the box with ansible-2.10.4. For more information on what’s new, how to get it, plus schedule for upcoming releases, read David Moreau Simard’s announcement to the ansible-devel mailing list.

ANSIBLE-BASE 2.10.4 RELEASE POSTPONED ONE WEEK

The release schedule for ansible-base 2.10.4, along with Ansible 2.8.18 and 2.9.16, has been pushed back by a week. The new release date will be December 14 instead of December 7. Please see Rick Elrod's email for more details.

REQUEST FOR COMMENTS

We'd appreciate your feedback on two important topics. Please see the following issues for details and reply in the respective issues with your comments.

ANSIBLE DOCUMENTATION SURVEY

We have created a one-page survey about the Ansible documentation. If you use docs.ansible.com, we’d love to hear your views! We’re hoping to learn whether different types of users need different types of documentation. We’re also interested in what the most common pain points are for documentation. The survey will be open through the end of December, 2020. Please fill out the survey and pass the word!
