GRAVIS GAMEPAD PRO DRIVER
The gamepad doesn't come with an analog joystick making the flight sims and 3D platform games a little more Gravis Gamepad Pro, but that is one of the prices you pay for having to pay less of a price.
Warranty & Support
You can however screw in a little handle to the D-pad to make a little joystick for those of you that prefer the feel Gravis Gamepad Pro a stick. It doesn't really make a difference to how the controller handles however and really just kinda got in the way in the racing and sports games.
The pad looks and acts almost exactly like the original PlayStation controller, which if Gravis Gamepad Pro play any console games will clue you in on the functional design. The four main buttons are nice and big and are easy to hit even if they are a little gaudy.
They are spaced far enough apart that you won't be hitting more than one button unless you mean to or you have a Gravis Gamepad Pro thumb. The four top buttons two on each side are also sized and placed nicely. The buttons also are also perfectly tuned to give just the right amount of responsiveness.

There will be no ruining your thumbs trying to get the controller to respond or accidental response when lightly brushing a button. The d-pad is very responsive giving tight control and immediate response to Gravis Gamepad Pro commands. It's a little big for my taste, mainly due to the socket in the middle for screwing in the joystick, but it doesn't really detract from gaming as you I got used to it very quickly.
One other nice feature that those of you without USB ports or a second game port will like is the split plug on the Gravis Gamepad Pro. Plug the first controller into the back of your computer and then add a second one on top of that.
Gravis PC GamePad
It's easy and will allow for two people to play on your computer even if you are one of those poor souls with only one controller port. The other allows for left-handed operation by turning the workings of the D-pad and buttons upside down. Both switches can be used at the same time. The GamePad Pro employed advanced signaling techniques referred to as "GrIP" to allow for both the use of ten buttons and the simultaneous use of up to four controllers connected by the controller's built-in piggyback plug. A switch on the pack of the non-USB pad could be used to allow the pad to function as a standard four-button pad; Gravis Gamepad Pro, games could not detect the gamepad unless they Gravis Gamepad Pro coded with the device in mind DOS or a specific driver was installed Windows.

Gravis Gamepad Pro The Gravis logo is replaced with the Philips logo. There are only two button functions, and the switch at the bottom controls the cursor speed in menus. The GamePad also appears in the video game Jazz Jackrabbit as a power-up ; it appears in the same game as an advertisement in the background, which reads "All kids love Gravis GamePad".
